ついに正体がバレたカフカ！
処分されてしまうのか！というかなり気になるところで終わった前回。

アニメ「怪獣8号」第11話「捕らわれた怪獣8号」あらすじ
怪獣8号の正体がカフカであることが発覚し、衝撃的な展開を迎えた第10話。第11話では、拘束されたカフカが本部施設へ移送されてしまう。
カフカは、防衛隊員としての夢が潰え、仲間を裏切ってしまった後ろめたさに苛まれる。移送される際カフカの目に留まったのはレノの姿だった。
レノはカフカが怪獣になった瞬間からずっと一緒に苦難を乗り越えてくれた後輩。
そんなレノの顔を見れない、と目を背けるカフカですが。
レノはカフカに、
絶対帰ってくるって信じてますから！
と声をかけます。
また、移送任務に同行していたミナは、カフカに
第三部隊でカフカを仲間と思っていない奴なんていない
と語りかけます。
一方、娘であるキコルが直々にカフカの処分をなんとかしてくれ、と説得しにいくも、キコルの父でもある日本防衛隊長官・四ノ宮功は、カフカを危険視し、殺処分することを決意する。
第三部隊それぞれがカフカを助けようと奔走する仲、新人であるカフカの同期たちは基地が大破されてしまって訓練に支障をきたすため、ほか基地での訓練を言い渡される。
一方のカフカは。。。
四ノ宮功により、怪獣として処分するために攻撃を受けてしまう。
人間とみなしてもらおうと、完全変身を避けようとするカフカ。
しかし、功は実力者。かなり強く、完全変身しないと本当に死んでしまう。。。
完全変身をとげたカフカは、異変に気づく。
コントロールが効かないのだ。
功の専属兵器は過去の大怪獣の身体から作られており、それに反応してカフカは怪獣に変身した自分をコントロールができないで暴走してしまう。
これでは、人間と証明するどころか、本当に怪獣じゃねぇか。。。
というところで続きました。

第11話は、カフカの葛藤と仲間との絆が描かれたエピソードでした。
そして、すこしカフカを変身させた謎の怪獣の目的についても知れましたね。
特に印象的なのは、カフカが移送される際に、隊員たちが全員で敬礼して送り出すシーン。
仲間からの信頼を感じ、決意を新たにするカフカ。今までのカフカの人となり、行動が生んだ結果ですね。よかったね！
とはいえ、なかなか上手くはいかなそうな予感です。
カフカと四ノ宮功の間にどのような戦いが繰り広げられるのか次回楽しみです。
今回、このカフカと功の戦闘シーンのかっこよさ、素晴らしかったですね！
特にカフカ？8号？の暴走モード。
かなりエヴァを彷彿とさせますが、それでもかっこいいものはかっこいい！
また、個人的には新人たちがバラけて他部隊にて訓練をする、というのにレノが即答するシーン。
これ、先輩を絶対守るマンになってるな、レノ。
と、思いながら見てました。
先輩を守るために強くなりたいんだな。
そして、キコルよ、きみ特権使いすぎじゃない？カフカの処分見届けに来てるなんて、訓練どうなってんの？
と思ったの、私だけじゃないですよね。
最後の、カフカの暴走モードの際。
最後にカフカを怪獣化させた、ハエのような怪獣が、
コロスコロス、怪獣、コロス
といっていましたね。
カフカを怪獣化させた目的は怪獣を殺すためと考えられますね。
何故なのかはまだわかりませんが。。。
怪獣8号という存在を通して、人間と怪獣の共存、そして正義とは何かを問いかける本作。
カフカの運命はいかに？目が離せない展開が続きます！

[Anime] Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11: "Captured Kaiju No. 8" Summary
The shocking revelation in Episode 10 unveils that Kaiju No. 8 is actually Kafka. In Episode 11, Kafka, now detained, is being transported to the headquarters facility.
Kafka, tormented by the guilt of betraying his comrades and the collapse of his dream to become a Defense Force member, catches sight of Reno during the transport.
Reno, his junior who has stood by him through hardships since the moment Kafka turned into a kaiju, is someone Kafka can't bear to look at.
However, Reno encourages Kafka, saying,
"I believe you'll definitely come back!"
Additionally, Mina, who is accompanying the transport mission, tells Kafka,
"There's no one in the Third Unit who doesn't consider you a comrade."
Meanwhile, Kikoru, Kafka's daughter, directly pleads with her father, the Japan Defense Force Commander-in-Chief, Isao Shinomiya, to reconsider Kafka's fate. However, Isao, deeming Kafka a threat, decides to execute him.
As the Third Unit members each strive to save Kafka, the new recruits, Kafka’s contemporaries, are ordered to train at another base due to the extensive damage their base has sustained.
On the other hand, Kafka faces an attack from Isao Shinomiya, who intends to execute him as a kaiju.
Kafka tries to avoid a complete transformation to prove he is still human, but Isao is a formidable opponent. Without fully transforming, Kafka faces certain death.
Upon fully transforming, Kafka notices something strange: he can't control himself.
Isao's specialized weapon is crafted from the body of a past major kaiju, causing Kafka to lose control and go berserk once he transforms.
"This way, I'll prove I'm really a kaiju instead of a human..."
And the episode ends on this cliffhanger.

Episode 11 of "Kaiju No. 8" portrays Kafka's inner turmoil and the bonds with his comrades.
Additionally, we learned a bit about the mysterious kaiju's purpose in partially transforming Kafka.
One particularly memorable scene is when the unit members salute Kafka as he is being transported. Feeling the trust of his comrades, Kafka renews his resolve. This moment highlights the results of Kafka's character and actions up to this point. Well done!
However, there’s a sense that things won’t go smoothly.
We’re eagerly anticipating the showdown between Kafka and Isao Shinomiya in the next episode.
The battle scene between Kafka and Isao in this episode was impressive!
Especially the rampage mode of Kafka or Kaiju No. 8. It strongly evokes Evangelion, but cool is cool!
Personally, the scene where Reno immediately responds to the order for the new recruits to train with other units was significant.
Reno is determined to protect his senior at all costs, isn’t he?
He wants to become stronger to protect his senior.
And Kikoru, are you using your privileges too much? Coming to witness Kafka's execution – what about your training?
I can’t be the only one who thought this.
Finally, during Kafka's rampage mode, the fly-like kaiju that transformed Kafka said,
“Kill, kill, kaiju, kill.”
This implies that the purpose of transforming Kafka was to kill kaiju. The reason behind this is still unknown...
Through the existence of Kaiju No. 8, this work questions the coexistence of humans and kaiju and what justice truly is.
What will become of Kafka’s fate? We can't take our eyes off this unfolding drama!
